Walks we recommend
Old Elatochori
About 2 km from the guesthouse. Stroll through the lanes of the old village and see, from the outside, the church of Agios Nikolaos (1776) and the old watermill. Routes to Keramida spring and Loura waterfall also start from here.
Erato Trail and Sotiris Waterfall
About 4 km from the guesthouse, on the road to the ski resort. An easy route of about 1.7 km through the forest, ending at Sotiris Waterfall. See our guide to Sotiris Waterfall.

For dogs that love longer walks, there are the waymarked Erato, Apollo and Muses trails. Ask us which route suits your dog.
Useful tips for your walks
- Lead: keep your dog on a lead in the village and wherever there are other hikers or animals
- Water: always carry water and a small bowl
- Clean up: pick up after your dog, so the village and the forest stay clean
- Ticks and fleas: after a forest walk, check your dog’s coat, especially in warm weather
- Winter: after a walk in the snow, wipe and dry your dog’s paws
